A powerful blend from the Simonsig-Stellenbosch region that rewards with age. Decanted in its youth, flavours of black currant and dark fruits can be found complemented by cigar tobacco and sour cherry notes. As the wine ages and its fine-grained tannins soften, a softer, more savoury palate is developed revealing tertiary complexity.
