Gewurztraminer

Gewurztraminer is a white wine grape variety with pink skins resulting in a gold to copper colour wine. Originating from Alsace France a warmer, dryer climate on the boarder of Germany. It is intensely aromatic with an exotic character and flavours of lychee; rose petals and a hint of spice. It is rich, full-bodied with a moderate to low acidity so pairs well with spicy Thai or Indian dishes; fruit salads; waffles and quiches.
