Boschkloof Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 750ml

This blend consists of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon and 26% Merlot. The grapes were hand-harvested, crushed, and destemmed in stainless steel tanks, where both natural and inoculated fermentations occurred with twice-daily pump-overs. Following alcoholic fermentation, the wine remained on the skins for 12 days before maturing in 225L French oak barrels for 12 months.

This full-bodied, oak-matured red wine boasts an intense deep ruby-black color. It offers a bouquet of ripe plum, red fruits, and complex perfumed oak. The concentrated mid-palate features a long aftertaste of blackberries with subtle undertones of spice. Enjoyable now, it will continue to improve over the next 3 to 5 years.
